“The Paw Patrol Movie” and Showbiz 5 Dollar Days

The+Paw+Patrol+Movie+and+Showbiz+5+Dollar+Days

Over the years movie ticket prices have increased significantly – what used to be $5 is now $15. $15 is a lot considering you can buy two whole Venti Pumpkin Spice Lattes for that amount.

But what if I told you Showbiz was bringing back the old movies AND the old prices?

For the rest of the month, Showbiz Cinema, in northest Edmond, will be playing classic movies at classic prices. There’s a variety of movies for any and all ages, from “Scooby-Do” to “Lord of the Rings”, and tickets are only $5. This movie theater deal not only includes classic flashback movies, but also children’s movies for the same price.

One film I was excited to see recently for the low price of $5 was “The Paw Patrol Movie.” This movie has a very entertaining plot where the Paw Patrol Pups gain superpowers after a meteor crashes in Adventure City; however, it takes a turn for the worse when an Evil Scientist and Humdinger steal the Pups’ powers in order to become super villains. The plot twists kept me on my toes, and the friendships between the pups pulled at my heartstrings.

This high quality movie about friendship, teamwork and conquering evil brought me joy and helped me remember the important message of teamwork and friendship. After I saw this movie I let my best friend choose the movie for movie night even though she always picks “Mulan”, but the movie inspired me so much that I put our friendship first, and sat through “Make a Man Out of You” for the sixth time that month.

The movie received a total of 4/5 stars on Rotten Tomatoes, with a critical review from Nell Minow saying, “The pups tackle problem solving, working together to make the best use of each character’s talents.”

You may think this movie is just for kids, but it is profoundly moving for all ages. Youtuber Matt Brunet stated, “[y]es, I am a grown man, I currently have no kids of my own and I’m not ashamed to say that I enjoyed the Paw Patrol movie.”

So why don’t you skip your daily Pumpkin Spice Latte and check out the movie deals at Showbiz?
