FBI offers $25,000 reward for migrant fugitive who murdered his wife in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.In order to find Miguel Angel Aguilar Ojeda, a fugitive wanted in connection with the 2024 murder of his wife in Philadelphia, the FBI is asking the public for assistance. He is regarded by authorities as dangerous and armed.

Ojeda, 34, is charged with killing his wife on October 27 and then escaping the scene. He is charged with several state offenses, including as tampering with evidence, mistreatment of a corpse, possession of instruments of crime, and murder. On October 30, the Philadelphia County Court issued a local arrest warrant.

The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania charged Ojeda with unauthorized flight to evade prosecution and issued a federal warrant for his arrest on November 21. Since then, he has not been seen and is thought to have left the state, possibly having connections to Philadelphia, Mexico, and Camden, New Jersey.

According to the description, Ojeda is 5′ 4″, 240 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair. In addition to the name Miguelito in black script with a yellow crown on his right wrist, he has tattoos on both wrists. He speaks Spanish and English and is well-known for his profession as a painter and construction worker.

Offering a reward for information that results in an arrest

For information leading to Ojeda’s whereabouts and arrest, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000. Investigators encourage the public not to approach Ojeda and caution that he should be viewed as dangerous and armed.

The FBI’s Philadelphia Field Office or the closest U.S. Embassy or Consulate should be contacted by anyone with information.

Miguel Angel Aguilar Ojeda, who is suspected of killing his wife and escaping across state or international borders, is the target of a federal manhunt.
