GAITHERSBURG, Md. — Montgomery County Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a 78-year-old man who vanished from the 7900 block of Brenish Drive on Friday morning.
Investigators believe that William Heyward was last seen carrying a black and white blanket and dressed in pants and a burgundy polo shirt.
Heyward’s measurements include being 5′ 8″, weighing about 150 pounds, having brown eyes, and having salt-and-pepper hair.
As of Friday afternoon, he has not been found after being last seen in Gaithersburg on Friday morning.
The public requested information.

Officers have not mentioned if Heyward would require medical care.
