Glen Burnie, M.D. A butcher from Glen Burnie used a $20 cash he found to buy a FAST PLAY Mega Multiplier ticket, turning a casual lottery stop into a $50,000 payout.
After purchasing a combination of scratch-offs and one FAST PLAY ticket, the resident of Anne Arundel County, who frequently plays the Maryland Lottery, claimed the prize at Lottery headquarters. The Mega Multiplier ticket hit big, but the scratch-offs yielded nothing.
The ticket was bought at Glen Burnie’s Luckies Market, which is situated at 7713 Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. Launched in April 2023, the $10 FAST PLAY Mega Multiplier game still offers big wins all around Maryland.
The winner, who has been a lottery player for many years, claimed that his grandmother, who always had tickets on hand, served as the inspiration for him to begin playing. His biggest award to date is $50,000.
The winner organizes a low-key celebration, and there are still plenty of top prizes in the game.
According to the Glen Burnie gamer, he will put the remaining money into savings and quietly celebrate with a new tattoo. He hasn’t made the announcement public and plans to keep the victory mostly under wraps.
There are still 24 unclaimed $100,000 top prizes, 12 more $50,000 prizes, plus hundreds of other mid-tier wins in the Mega Multiplier game as of June 24. The range of prize values is $10 to $100,000.
Instant win results are provided at the time of purchase for the FAST PLAY Mega Multiplier game, which is accessible throughout the state.
