Juvenile reports suspicious encounter with unknown man in Cinnaminson

CINNAMINSON, N.J.Police searched the area after a young girl reported a suspicious encounter with an unidentified man on Saturday at the intersection of Parry Boulevard and Waterford Drive, but they were unable to find any suspects.

The incident happened when a bald white man without a shirt approached the youngster and invited her to get on the back of his bicycle, according to the Cinnaminson Township Police Department. There were no reports of direct threats or physical confrontation.

Although they agree that the occurrence caused anxiety in the community, police said there is currently no proof of a crime or criminal intent. Police posted on social media that although no crime or criminal intent has been proven as of yet, the encounter naturally raised concerns.

With the Delran Police Department’s help, officers conducted a comprehensive canvass of the area. The search failed to find the man, who was only identified by his looks and means of conveyance.

As a preventative step, the police agency stressed how crucial it is to report any strange or suspicious activities.

The public is advised to remain vigilant.

To increase awareness, the Cinnaminson Police posted the complaint on Facebook and X on Saturday. Because the investigation is still underway and there is no proof of a crime, the department did not release any further identifying information.

As of Sunday morning, no other instances or similar complaints have been received in the area. Authorities are still keeping an eye out for any new information or public tips.
