Manhunt for Queens Murderer Ends After High Speed Chase

Queens, New York.The New York City Police Department reported the arrest of a man wanted in relation to the murder of a 36-year-old woman in Queens. Following a fast-paced pursuit across the borough, the arrest took place.

Detectives from the 114th Precinct conducted an investigation before arresting 53-year-old Bekim Fiseku. In relation to Amanda Servedio’s death, police had earlier issued a public warning asking for assistance in finding Fiseku.

The victim of a homicide that occurred within the precinct earlier this month was identified as Servedio. The precise date and circumstances of her death have not been made public by authorities.

Fiseku was taken into custody as part of the continuing inquiry. Authorities have not disclosed any additional information about his whereabouts or the allegations he is currently facing.

After the arrest, the investigation is still ongoing.

The nature of the relationship between the suspect and the victim, as well as the reason for the incident, have not been disclosed by the NYPD.

Fiseku is still being held by the police as of Tuesday. Detectives from the NYPD’s Homicide Squad and the 114th Precinct are working the case.

Law enforcement says they are not currently looking for any other suspects.
