Severe weather forces cancellation of Burlington Cruise Night and Concert

New Jersey’s Burlington.The City of Burlington and the BCPD K-9 Unit have announced that the Cruzin on the River Car & Motorcycle Cruise Night and Concert scheduled for Thursday evening has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Forecasts of rainstorms, lightning, and strong wind gusts about 4 p.m. caused the popular community event, which was originally scheduled to take place along the Riverfront Promenade from 6 to 8 p.m., to be canceled.

The event flyer stated in bright red characters, “POSTPONED DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER.” The event’s organizers encouraged participants to exercise caution and expressed excitement about doing it again next month.

Live music, food vendors, door prizes, and vintage automobiles and motorbikes line the promenade are all common components of the monthly event. Trophies are given out every month, and admission is free.

Event supports K-9 unit and local pet charity
