CLEAIRTON, PA.Officials announced that a player in Allegheny County who bought a Fast Play Break the Ice ticket on Tuesday won a progressive top prize of $199,166 in the Pennsylvania Lottery.
Livingston Pharmacy, situated at 550 Miller Avenue in Clairton, sold the winning ticket. Selling the ticket will earn the store a $500 bonus.
The progressive top prizes in the $10 Fast Play game Break the Ice start at $125,000 and rise until a winning ticket is sold. Fast Play games don’t involve scratching or waiting for a drawing like regular scratch-offs do; instead, they are printed quickly at lottery terminals or self-serve vending machines.
The winner hasn’t been revealed yet. Before the prize details are confirmed, the ticket must to be signed, verified, and claimed with the Pennsylvania Lottery.
Fast Play continues to pay out growing jackpots
By utilizing the official PA Lottery app, scanning at a store, or looking over the printed play area, players can verify their Fast Play tickets. Within a year of the ticket’s purchase date, all Fast Play prizes must be claimed.
