Trenton, New Jersey. After a collaborative investigation by the Trenton Police Department and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, a 43-year-old Trenton male has been taken into custody and charged with the sexual assault of a minor.
Irin Green was arrested on June 13 and taken into jail in Trenton, according to prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey. Green faces one count each of first-degree aggravated sexual assault and second-degree endangering a child’s welfare.
The criminal complaint states that the alleged assault happened at a Trenton home around four years ago. According to authorities, earlier this month, the youngster and the child’s mother informed the police about the event.

A motion to hold Green awaiting trial has been filed by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. As of right now, neither the inquiry nor the chronology of events have been made public.
The Special Victims Unit continues to investigate the matter.
