Baltimore, Maryland.Late Friday night, police said that one person was killed and another critically injured in a single-vehicle collision in Baltimore’s Northwest District.
Around 9:30 p.m., officers arrived at the 4300 block of Liberty Heights Avenue and discovered a car that had collided with several parked cars and flipped over. At the scene, the driver was declared deceased.
A male passenger, age 40, was sent to a nearby hospital in critical condition. His present situation has not been made public.
According to the preliminary inquiry, the car lost control before colliding with many parked cars and overturning. The cause of the collision is still being looked into.
The case has been taken over by detectives from the Accident Investigation Unit of the Baltimore Police Department. The public is being asked for further information by authorities.
