After a Fight, a Bus Driver in Florida Shoots and Kills Two People

Two men were killed early Sunday morning when a bus driver and riders on a Miami-Dade Transit bus opened fire.

On February 50, at 2:50 a.m., police were called to the corner of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 183rd Street in Miami Gardens, a neighbourhood north of Miami.

According to a statement from Miami Gardens police to NBC News on Monday, the bus driver got into a verbal argument and then fired several shots into the bus, hitting and killing two people.

The people were taken by helicopter to Aventura Hospital in critical condition, but cops later said they were dead from their injuries.

Diani Delgado, a police spokeswoman, told NBC South Florida that the fight started inside the parked bus and got worse until the bus driver pulled out a gun and shot the two passengers. Officials said the driver was stopped and brought in to be questioned.

Look at Wabe. God told NBC South Florida that he ran out of a store and heard six shots. He thought that was the exact moment they were fired.

God said, “They were on a county bus and probably just trying to get to where they were going next when someone decided to kill them.” “I don’t like the violence in my neighbourhood. It’s not fair to the community, the people who live here, the family that was killed, or anyone else.”

The reason is still being looked into. Delgado said it was a one-time thing.

Delgado told NBC South Florida, “I don’t think the community needs to be scared.”

The investigation is still going on, and Miami Gardens cops haven’t released the names of those involved yet.
