Alleged MS-13 Gang Member Arrested in San Francisco by ICE and FBI

On Wednesday afternoon, the San Francisco office of the bureau shared details regarding the arrest of a Salvadoran national on X.
The FBI has identified Santos Rodriguez-Aleman as an alleged member of the MS-13 gang. His criminal history includes convictions in El Salvador for drug and firearms trafficking, as well as homicide.

According to the post, ICE officers based in San Francisco received assistance from the FBI during the arrest.

Authorities have made numerous arrests across the nation, with this incident being just one of many. On Thursday, Virginia law enforcement, alongside FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi, announced a significant development in their fight against gang violence: the arrest of a high-ranking leader of the MS-13 gang.

“The task force will be deployed wherever necessary throughout the United States to ensure that our American citizens receive the justice, security, and safety they rightfully deserve,” Patel stated.

Authorities have praised the early morning capture of a suspected gang leader from El Salvador. The individual, identified as 24-year-old Henrry Josue Villatoro Santos, was apprehended in northern Virginia due to an outstanding administrative immigration warrant, as detailed in court documents. Authorities have charged him with illegal gun possession following the discovery of multiple firearms during a search of his residence.

Bondi identified the suspect as a key figure among MS-13’s leadership in the United States, noting that he was residing in the country without legal status.
