Chick-fil-A fans are buzzing with excitement over a new addition to the menu, calling it “another reason” to visit the popular fast-food chain.
While the concept isn’t entirely new, Chick-fil-A is officially introducing it to their menu, and customers can’t wait to try the sweet new treats.
On March 17, food blogger Snackolator shared that “Chick-fil-A is upping their beverage game in huge ways with new Icedream Spins and Floats.”
The blogger posted an image of the new items, explaining that customers can now mix any fountain drink with Chick-fil-A’s IceDream to create an Icedream Spin (similar to a soda shake) or an Icedream Float (a more classic float).
Currently, the new drinks are being tested in four cities—San Diego, Salt Lake City, Chicago, and Tampa. However, as the influencer pointed out, this trial run is promising news for fans.
“Yes, some locations have offered Frosted Sodas before, but this is an official test, which could lead to a nationwide release,” he explained.
Fans were thrilled, flooding the comments with excitement, noting that Chick-fil-A was “finally” catching up since “Wendy’s and Burger King did this years ago.”
Some also mentioned that Utah has had similar drinks for a long time. “Utah has been doing this for years! Frosted Coke,” one person pointed out, highlighting that soda and ice cream combos are already popular in the state.
Others were eager to experiment with different flavors, with one user sharing, “I used to do this when I worked there. Dr Pepper is so good blended with IceDream. It’s actually really yummy with blue Powerade too.”
