San Diego County residents can expect below-average high temperatures through Saturday, with some areas seeing conditions up to 15 degrees cooler than normal, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
On Tuesday, forecasted highs include:
- 76°F along the coast
- 76°–79°F in the western valleys
- 79°–84°F near the foothills
- 79°–89°F in the mountains
- 101°–106°F in the desert regions
The NWS also noted that night and morning low clouds will continue to spread inland, reaching into parts of the valleys. A persistent marine layer is expected to linger through early next week, with the possibility of patchy drizzle west of the mountains.
Looking ahead, high pressure is expected to build back in starting Sunday, gradually bringing warmer and more seasonal temperatures by the middle of next week.
Residents are advised to keep an eye on local forecasts, especially those planning outdoor activities, as conditions may change heading into the new week.
