AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 in Round Rock on Monday, according to the Round Rock Police Department (RRPD).

The crash, which involved ten vehicles, occurred near RM 620 around noon, forcing authorities to shut down all northbound and southbound lanes for several hours.

Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, working to assist those involved and clear the wreckage. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) reported that all lanes were reopened shortly before 5:30 p.m., nearly six hours after the crash.

Police urged drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes during the closure. Officials have not yet released details on the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved.
