Parents have supported a school bus driver who is accused of hitting Virginia Giuffre at 70 mph, which she says caused kidney failure that is life-threatening.
This week, Ms. Giuffre said she had only days to live after being hit by a bus in Western Australia. She is a victim of Jeffrey Epstein and has said that the Duke of York sexually assaulted her when she was a minor.
The parents of the kids involved, on the other hand, agree with the driver that the accident was minor and that the bus was going so slowly that it couldn’t have caused the bruises on Ms. Giuffre’s face that were seen in a photo she shared on social media.
They told The Telegraph that what Ms. Giuffre said was “lies” and that the “whole story is sick.”
Mrs. Emmie-Rose Wright said that her five, eight, and nine-year-old children said the crash only did minor damage to the back brake light of Ms. Giuffre’s Toyota Highlander.
“They [the kids] got off the bus and said they had a little accident,” she said. “No damage was done to the bus, and none of the kids were hurt.”
She said that the 29 kids on the bus were not “saddened” by what happened, as Ms. Giuffre’s family has said.
“They weren’t scared or upset at all…” They thought she had stopped in front of them for no reason.
Ross Munns, the bus driver, was called a “upstanding member of the community” by Ms. Wright, who said she “wholeheartedly” thought he would not speed or leave someone hurt without medical help.
According to Ms. Wright, if someone in a car had been hurt, the driver would not have left without calling for help.
The school bus was seen at the scene of the accident on Thursday. It didn’t look like it had any damage, and there was no debris on the road.
Ms. Wright and Hayley Miller, another parent, said that the bus was still whole when their kids got off about 15 minutes after the crash.
Ms. Miller said she was “disgusted” that Ms. Giuffre would post a picture of a bruised and cut face along with false accusations against the driver that parents trust with their children’s safety.
She said, “The whole story is sick, and I don’t know what’s true and what’s not. But I do know that the injuries are not from the bus accident.”
“They’re telling lies.” I don’t understand what she wants to get out of it all… I feel bad for her though, and I hope she gets help.
Mr. Munns said he was going less than 45mph when he had to slow down on a country road to make room for Ms. Giuffre’s slow-moving car, which was being driven by a 71-year-old “career.”
“The driver pretty much pulled out in front of me.” Mr. Munns said, “I made sure she was okay.”
At first, he didn’t know there was a passenger, but the next day, the driver called to say that someone in the car had a “black eye.”
When Mr. Munns saw a picture of Ms. Giuffre with cuts and bruises on one side of her face, he couldn’t believe it.
He said, “There’s no way you could get that hurt in the crash.”
On March 24, what happened happened while Mr. Munns was driving the bus along his usual path through the farming community of Neergabby.
He said the cops “laughed” when they were told to take pictures of his bus that wasn’t damaged as proof after Ms. Giuffre made the claim public.
