Trenton, New Jersey.The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office reports that a drive-by shooting occurred Thursday night in the 100 block of Passaic Street, leaving a 24-year-old man dead and three others injured.
Around 8:52 p.m., according to the authorities, a car pulled up to a group of persons who were standing outside, started firing, and then drove away. Four people were hit by gunfire: a 16-year-old girl and three adult males.
Karan Hunter, 24, was declared dead at Capital Health Regional Medical Center shortly after the four victims were taken there.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force’s first investigation revealed that the attack was targeted, although it did not establish a motive. The remaining three victims’ identities and medical situations have not been made public.
No arrests have been recorded; the investigation is ongoing.
The inquiry is being carried out by the Trenton Police Department and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force. As of Friday, no arrests had been made, and authorities are requesting the public’s help.
