NJ’s Toms River For music enthusiasts in Toms River and the surrounding area, there is wonderful news. With one free performance on the beach in Ortley Beach, Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick said today that the township has increased the number of free beachside concerts and fireworks this summer.
According to the mayor, the music series last year was a huge hit with the locals, and we had some fantastic crowds. In order to offer more free performances and a kids’ concert series for all of the young families in Toms River, we were able to eliminate the middlemen and book bands directly this year.
Seniors, young families, teens, and young adults all enjoyed last year’s activities, according to Rodrick, who also mentioned that many people anchored their boats offshore to watch the performances from a unique offshore perspective. This year, he even invites boaters to pull up and see from the bay.The mayor continued, “We’re hoping to break our attendance records this year, and it’s great to see the community coming together.”
