A 53-year-old northern Wisconsin man was arrested Sunday after a reported domestic disturbance led authorities to uncover multiple felony warrants, a stolen vehicle, and a cache of illegal drugs.

According to the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and officers from the Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) Police Department responded to a domestic incident in the Northwoods Beach Community of the LCO Reservation. Following an investigation, officers identified the suspect’s location and took him into custody.

The man, identified as Daniel Corbine of Hayward, was arrested for his involvement in the domestic disturbance and on several outstanding felony warrants from both Wisconsin and Minnesota. Authorities also discovered Corbine was in possession of a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Minnesota.

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies found over 25 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 70 pills believed to be Oxycodone, and various pieces of drug paraphernalia.

Corbine now faces multiple charges, including possession of stolen property, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I or II narcotics, possession with intent to distribute amphetamines, domestic disorderly conduct, and domestic battery. He is being held on a $10,000 cash bond, along with a probation hold and an outstanding warrant from Minnesota.
